“How to”…webinars, is an initiative that started within Urban Spaces and are designed to support MSF Associations, in organizing associative action with communities in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and also beyond that. During these webcasts, we are looking at examples from within MSF and good practices from other organizations.
On 14/04/2020 the first “How to”… webinar – Organizing Actions with Communities was hosted by MSF Urban Spaces and MSF International Asso Team.
The topic of the webinar was Practical Considerations on Community Engagement under COVID – 19 and 62 participants joined in.
The webinar focused on two main questions:
- “How can we communicate effectively our messages within our communities?” presented by Iro Evlampidou, MD, Medical Epidemiologist/ Public Health Expert, MSF member “Mobilizing remotely;
- “How can we address the current challenges of organizing and mobilizing remotely?” presented by Christopher James Dean, Mobilization Expert, member of Greenpeace international collective action group and Mobilization Head of Greenpeace Greece.
