A workshop was organized by the MSF Urban Spaces team in the framework of Podcasts as a tool to engage with communities. During the workshop, participants learnt about the experience of MSF SARA on launching a podcasts series on organizing action with communities in COVID-19 related issues. Also with the support of a communication expert they were introduced to podcast process from conception to promotion phase.
Special consideration was given to the following questions: a. How to Plan a Podcast? b. How to structure it best? c. What is the ideal format and style? d. What are the practicalities to consider when producing a podcast, from recording till editing it? e. How can we maximize reach out? A Manual with tips on how to produce a podcasts, has been developed, as the Workshop result.
